INTERVIEW WITH AUTHOR KATE T. WILLIAMSON

One book that caught our attention this year is - "A Year in Japan" written by Kate T. Williamson, an illustrator and filmmaker.

"A Year in Japan" is a beautiful and exquisite visual journal that highlights Kate's year-long exploration of life in Kyoto, Japan.

Kate received a fellowship to study sock design in Kyoto. So we just had to talk to her and find out how you actually get a fellowship to study sock design in Japan and what inspired her beautiful watercolor illustrations.
